JLPT N3 Mock Test: 25 Questions in About 35 Minutes
Take a free JLPT N3 mock test in the real exam format. This mini test is about a quarter of the real JLPT N3: 25 questions from all three scored sections — language knowledge (kanji and grammar), reading, and listening with native Japanese audio. How is the JLPT N3 scored?
The real JLPT N3 has three scored sections, each worth 60 points: language knowledge (vocabulary and grammar), reading, and listening — 180 points in total. To pass, you need at least 95 points overall and at least 19 points in each section. This mock test converts your answers to the same 60-point scale. The real test uses scaled scores, so treat your result as a guide.

去年の春、となりの部屋に若い人が引っ越してきた。次の日、その人がタオルを持ってあいさつに来た。今はそうする人が少ないと思っていたので、おどろいた。
そのときは、少し面倒だとも感じた。しかし、ろうかで会うと自然に話すようになり、留守のときに荷物を預かってもらったこともある。
もちろん、あいさつをしなくても生活はできる。それでも、あの3分のおかげで、この1年は安心して暮らせた。わたしも引っ越すときは、となりにあいさつに行こうと思う。

日本では、病院で薬をもらうのではなく、病院からもらう紙を持って薬局へ行くことのほうが多い。
初めて病院へ行った日、薬局で「おくすり手帳はお持ちですか」と聞かれた。なんのことかわからず黙っていると、薬剤師さんが小さな手帳を見せ、もらった薬を記録するものだと教えてくれた。
薬局でもらう薬には、名前や量を書いたシールがつく。薬局が用意してくれるので、手帳にはるだけでよい。いっぽう、店で自分で買った薬にはシールがないので、自分で書きたす必要がある。
手帳が一番役に立つのは、いくつもの病院にかかるときだ。前に出された薬がわかれば、いっしょに飲むとよくない薬を避けられる。それは、どの病院の記録も一冊に集まっているからこそできる。
最近はスマートフォンのアプリで記録できるものもあり、紙の手帳を使わない人も増えた。しかし、どんな方法でも、薬の記録がばらばらにならないようにしたい。
