わたしは毎朝、紙の新聞を読んでいる。ネットのニュースは、いつでもどこでも読めるし、新しい情報がすぐにわかるので、便利だと思う。
でも、ネットでは、自分の好きなニュースばかり選んでしまう。紙の新聞なら、ページを開くだけで、興味がなかったニュースも自然に目に入ってくる。それが、自分の世界を広げてくれる気がする。
だから、お金は少しかかるが、わたしはこれからも紙の新聞を読み続けるつもりだ。

Mr. Tanaka,
Thank you for your hard work. About today’s 3 p.m. presentation of the new product — the trains have stopped, and I will probably arrive about 30 minutes late.
I’m sorry, but when the visitors come, please tell them that I will be late and show them to the meeting room.
I printed the documents yesterday and put them on the shelf in the meeting room. Please do not hand them out before I arrive — just wait as you are.

Passage ②
Every morning, I read a paper newspaper. Internet news is convenient, I think — you can read it anytime, anywhere, and you get new information right away.
But on the internet, I end up choosing only the news I like. With a paper newspaper, just by opening the pages, news I was not interested in naturally comes into view. I feel that this widens my world.
So, although it costs a little money, I intend to keep reading the paper newspaper.
問1（行動） 正解：3。正解：3。メールの依頼は「私が遅れることを伝えて、会議室に案内してください」で、選択肢3はその言い換えです。1は「資料はきのう印刷して…置いてあります」とあり、もう済んでいる仕事。4は「着く前に配らないで」と反対の指示があるので、お客様が来た時点の仕事ではありません。2の「あとでもう一度来てもらう」はメールのどこにも書かれていない行動です。The correct answer is 3. The email asks Mr. Tanaka to tell the visitors that Mr. Sato will be late and to show them to the meeting room; choice 3 paraphrases this. Choice 1 is a task that is already done (the documents were printed yesterday). Choice 4 goes against the instruction “do not hand them out before I arrive.” Choice 2 describes an action that appears nowhere in the email.
問2（筆者の考え） 正解：2。正解：2。本文は「ネットは便利だと思う。でも…だから、これからも紙の新聞を読み続けるつもりだ」という譲歩の構造です。1は「便利ではない」が言い過ぎ。3は結論が本文と反対。4は「好きなニュースを選べる」というネットの特徴を新聞の長所にすり替えた誤答です。The correct answer is 2. The essay uses a concession structure: “Internet news is convenient, but… so I will keep reading the paper newspaper.” Choice 1 goes too far by saying it is not convenient. Choice 3 states the opposite conclusion. Choice 4 swaps a feature of internet news (choosing what you like) and presents it as a merit of the paper newspaper.
