[1] This year’s schedule (four sessions in total). People from various countries teach the food of their own country. You may also join just one session.
ア September 14 (Sun), 10:00–13:00. Japan: vegetable tempura, yudofu (tofu in hot broth). * This session is already full.
イ October 10 (Sat), 10:00–13:00. India: vegetable curry, naan.
ウ November 8 (Sun), 13:00–16:00. Italy: vegetable pasta, tomato soup.
エ December 6 (Sun), 13:00–16:00. Korea: bulgogi (a beef dish), jijimi.
Venue: Midori Community Hall, 3rd floor, cooking practice room.
Capacity: 20 people per session, first come first served. You cannot join a session that is already full.
[2] Fee. Please pay at the venue on the day of the class. Electronic money and credit cards cannot be used — cash only. Members: 800 yen. Visitors (non-members): 1,200 yen.
[3] Applying and what to bring. Please follow this order.
Apply by email no later than one week before the day of the class.
In your email, write three things: your name, your country, and your phone number.
Bring an apron and a cloth. The center provides drinks.
If you have to be absent, please tell us at least three days before, because we buy the ingredients in advance.

問1（条件の照合） 正解：3。カルロスさんの条件は三つです。「①日曜日だけ時間がある」「②肉が食べられない」「③いっぱいの回には入れない」。アは日も料理も合っていますが、定員に達しているので×。イは野菜カレーですが土曜日なので×。エは日曜日ですが、プルコギは牛肉の料理なので×。ウだけが三つとも合います。案内に「肉」という言葉は出てきません。「チキン」「牛肉」を自分で「肉」と結びつけて考えることが大切です。Carlos has three conditions: he is free only on Sundays, he cannot eat meat, and he cannot join a session that is already full. ア matches the day and the food, but it is full. イ is a vegetable curry, but it falls on a Saturday. エ is on a Sunday, but bulgogi is a beef dish. Only ウ satisfies all three. Note that the word for ‘meat’ never appears in the notice — you have to connect ‘beef’ to ‘meat’ yourself.
問2（手続きの確認） 正解：2。【2】に、会員は800円、ビジターは1,200円とあります。アルテアさんは会員ではないので1,200円です。払い方は「教室の日に会場で」「現金のみ」なので、2が正しいです。1は金額も場所も合っていますが、3日前までというのは【3】の「休むとき」の期限で、参加費とは関係がありません。3はエプロンとふきんまでは合っていますが、飲み物はセンターが用意します。4は電子マネーが使えないので×です。Section [2] gives 800 yen for members and 1,200 yen for visitors; Altea is not a member, so he pays 1,200 yen. The notice says the fee is paid at the venue on the day of the class, in cash only, so choice 2 is right. Choice 1 has the right amount and place, but the three-day deadline belongs to the rule about absences in section [3] and has nothing to do with the fee. Choice 3 is right about the apron and cloth, but the center provides drinks. Choice 4 fails because electronic money cannot be used.
