だから、働きながらずっと先生の仕事を探し続けました。そして先月、とうとう見つかったのです。来月から、新しい生活が始まります。

My name is Maria. Two years ago, I came to Japan from the Philippines, and I now work as a caregiver at a nursing home.
However, I have decided to quit this job at the end of this month. It is not that I came to dislike the work. Ever since I was a child, my dream has been to become an English teacher.
So, while working, I kept looking for a teaching job. And last month, I finally found one. Next month, my new life will begin.
問1（理由） 正解：3。本文はまず「仕事が嫌になったわけではありません」と理由を一つ否定し、そのあと「子どもの頃からの夢だった」「とうとう見つかった」と本当の理由を説明しています。The passage first denies one reason (“it is NOT that she came to dislike the job”) and then gives the real reason: teaching was her childhood dream, and she finally found such a job.
- 3：「夢だった」＋「とうとう見つかった」と本文が合う。
- 4：本文が「〜わけではない」と否定している内容。いちばんのひっかけ。
- 2：仕事はもう先月見つかっています。これから勉強を始めるのではありません。
- 1：本文に書かれていない。1と3はどちらも「とうとう」で始まるので、言葉の形ではなく意味で選びましょう。
