以下の4つの語句を並べ替え、正しい文にしましょう。
Arrange the four words below into the correct sentence.
「〜だけあって」は、「〜」という事実にふさわしい、りっぱな結果が出たときに使います。「さすが〜だ」という気持ちが入ります。前には動詞・イ形容詞の普通形や名詞が来ます。
後半は「フランス語の」+「発音が」の順です。「〜の」は次の名詞を説明するので、必ず「発音」の前に置きます。
★に入るのは「だけあって」です。
「〜だけあって」 means “as you’d expect, since ~”. You give a reason that sounds impressive, and then a result that matches it. It goes after a plain-form verb, an i-adjective, or a noun.
In the second half, 「フランス語の」 has to come right before 「発音」, because 「〜の」 always describes the noun that follows it.
The word on the ★ is 「だけあって」.
以下の4つの語句を並べ替え、正しい文にしましょう。
Arrange the four words below into the correct sentence.
「〜ついでに」は、何かをする機会を利用して、ほかのこともする、という意味です。「買い物の+ついでに」で一つのまとまりになります。
ここが注意:このタイルの「よって」は、漢字で書くと「寄って」(=立ち寄る)です。「〜によって(手段・原因)」の「よって」とは別の言葉なので気をつけましょう。「郵便局に寄る」のように、「〜に+寄る」の形で使います。
★に入るのは「よって」です。
「〜ついでに」 means “while I’m at it” — you’re already doing one thing, so you do something else on the same trip. 「買い物の」 and 「ついでに」 stick together as one chunk.
Watch out: the tile 「よって」 here is 寄って, from the verb 寄る (“to drop by”). It is NOT the 「〜によって」 that means “by means of / because of”. You always say 「〜に寄る」, so 「郵便局に」 must come right before it.
The word on the ★ is 「よって」.
以下の4つの語句を並べ替え、正しい文にしましょう。
Arrange the four words below into the correct sentence.
「〜にかぎる」は「〜が一番いい」という意味です。動詞の辞書形や名詞に付きます。話している人の気持ちを強く表す、会話でよく使う言い方です。
文の作り方は、まず「こんな+暑い日の+外出は」で話題(テーマ)を作り、そのあとに「海に行くに+かぎる」を置きます。「〜に」と「かぎる」は必ずセットです。
★に入るのは「かぎる」です。
「〜にかぎる」 means “nothing beats ~” or “~ is the best”. It comes after a dictionary-form verb or a noun, and it’s very common in everyday conversation when you want to say what you strongly recommend.
Build the topic first — 「こんな暑い日の外出は」 (“as for going out on a hot day like this”) — and put the 〜にかぎる part at the end. 「〜に」 and 「かぎる」 are always a set, so they stay next to each other.
The word on the ★ is 「かぎる」.
以下の4つの語句を並べ替え、正しい文にしましょう。
Arrange the four words below into the correct sentence.
「AからといってBわけではない」は、「Aという理由だけで、Bだとは言えない」という部分否定の言い方です。前と後ろが必ずセットになります。
「必ずしも」は後ろに否定(ここでは「わけではない」)が来るときにだけ使う言葉なので、後半に置きます。
★に入るのは「からといって」です。
「AからといってBわけではない」 means “just because A, that doesn’t (necessarily) mean B”. The two halves always work as a pair: からといって closes the first half, わけではない closes the second.
「必ずしも」 (“not necessarily”) can only be used when a negative ending follows it, so it has to sit in the second half, before 「幸せな わけではない」.
The word on the ★ is 「からといって」.
