Opening in April — English school “Smile English”: we are looking for foreign teachers.
[1] Classes we are hiring for. We are looking for foreign teachers who can teach English to children in an enjoyable way.
ア Preschool class (weekdays): 1,800 yen per hour. Monday–Friday, 14:00–16:00, at least two days a week. Requirements: JLPT N2 or above; no experience necessary.
イ Preschool class (weekend): 1,900 yen per hour. Saturday and Sunday, 10:00–12:00; just one of the two days is fine. Requirements: JLPT N2 or above; experience teaching English required.
ウ Elementary-school class (weekdays): 1,600 yen per hour. Monday–Friday, 16:00–20:00, at least two days a week. Requirements: JLPT N3 or above; no experience necessary.
エ Elementary-school class (weekend): 1,700 yen per hour. Saturday and Sunday, 13:00–15:00; just one of the two days is fine. Requirements: JLPT N3 or above; experience teaching English required.
[2] From application to interview. Deadline: February 28 (Friday). Please follow steps ① to ③ below.
① How to apply — online only. We do not accept applications by telephone. Please apply through the application form on the website below.
② Documents required — résumé and others. After you apply, we will send a reply to the email address you registered. That reply will tell you which documents are needed and the address to send them to.
③ Screening result — we will contact you by March 7. We will email only those who pass the document screening. After that, we will hold an interview at the school. If you do not hear from us, we are sorry, but it means you were not selected.
* A travel allowance of up to 500 yen per day is paid.
* International students need “permission to engage in activity other than that permitted by the status of residence.” You may work up to 28 hours per week.
問1（条件の照合） 正解：3。ラミレスさんの条件は「平日は15時まで授業」「N3・N2なし」「教えた経験なし」「日曜日はだめ」の4つです。アは14:00開始で授業と重なり、N2も必要です。イはN2と経験の両方が足りません。エは日本語の条件は合いますが、経験が必要です。ウだけが4つの条件をすべて満たします。His four conditions are: lectures until 15:00 on weekdays, N3 (not N2), no teaching experience, and no Sundays. ア starts at 14:00 and needs N2; イ needs both N2 and experience; エ matches on Japanese level but still requires experience. Only ウ satisfies all four conditions.
問2（手続きの流れ） 正解：4。案内には、①インターネットで申し込む→②返信メールで必要な書類と送り先がわかる→③合格者だけに連絡、という順番が書いてあります。1は「電話は受け付けておりません」、2は「合格した方だけに連絡」、3は「住所は返信メールで知らせる」という部分で、それぞれ消すことができます。The notice gives a clear order: apply online, then learn from the reply email which documents are needed and where to send them, and finally only successful applicants are contacted. Option 1 is ruled out by the no-phone rule, option 2 by the line saying only successful applicants are contacted, and option 3 by the fact that the address comes in the reply email.
